E-standards for Training The Framework’s E-standards for Training business activity has a total of $80,000 available for up to 6 projects for registered training organisations (RTOs) to trial emerging technologies that may have wider applications in the national training system. focused on developing national standards to underpin essential e-learning infrastructure, conducting research into new technology areas and providing guidance materials and tools to support the effective use of emerging technologies. In 2008, production of new learning objects will be streamlined to provide a more rapid response as urgent new training and assessment needs are identified. 1. Welcome everyone to the session It’s exciting to have everyone together finally Comment that I am aware that time is precious and will try and fit this into an hour if possible.
  2. So what does this means for you and your organisation? Well firstly, Congratulations on becoming one of the last of the early adopters. Funding for 2009 will be aimed at those who already have elearning embedded into their organisation. This means that we need to get your organisation to a comfortable stage with elearning if you are wanting to seek these funding opportunities. The main source of funding for elearning is from the Australian Flexible Learning Framework. The competition for this funding is fierce, and ACE does get from the same bucket as tafe. But that doesn’t mean that it isn’t achievable. Partnerships are looked upon fondly, and the flexibility for ACE to adapt to circumstances gives you all an advantage. But first you need to have a plan, and address these points. They want you to be organised, - and have your partnerships established before you apply.
  3. Tackle the culture change.
  4. Learners reactions Learning results Staff and trainers behaviours Business results – what is the return on investment.
  5. Sessions starting in September. Will send you out the information.
  6. Op Analysis also available on the wiki.
