their goals. Advertising is the most common and easily
recognized by all.
The advertisements are intended to persuade consumers

6. Advertising industry types?
• Institutionally advertising - not for profit, just want the
disclosure of information, raising awareness of social,
cultural, civic ...
• Commercial advertising - seeks to promote a product or
service, with the general consumer, to encourage its use for
profit.

7. Misleading advertising
• Currently there is concern on the part of officials to protect
consumers against this type of advertising. Often it happened
that a consumer attracted by the spectacular advantages of
the articles or the prize that went with it were taken to
acquire something whose price / quality ratio was very poor,
the product did not match the advertised among other
situations that arose and unfortunately still arise. At
European level there are policies that establish what is
misleading. Despite that penalties, this does not prevent
companies that still arise to try, in a more disguised.
