1. Investors Europe Stock Brokers : Online Internship Programme
This 6 month online internship involves :
• Being trained to work as a Stock Broker/ Investment Dealer
• Learning how to work with existing and new company clients
• Dealing with and actively resolving client online trading technology issues
• Dealing with trading and settlement problems
• Learning about trading, clearing and settlement operations covering many financial products
(stocks, futures, options, ETFs, CFDs, Bonds, Spot Forex etc )
• Learning how to work with many different online trading platforms
• Learning how to talk to clients and prospective clients and dealing with online sales and CRM
techniques & procedures
• Learning how to place orders into the Markets on behalf of clients
• Learning how to transfer positions and portfolios into the company from other brokers and
custodian banks.
• Learning how company commissions are generated and calculated from the execution of stocks,
futures, options, ETFs, CFDs, Bonds, Spot Forex etc into the markets.
It is basically a positive and very 'hands-on' experience about what the life of a modern stock broker
involves. For a student to be accepted for this internship requires the following:-
• Minimum 2nd/3rd year university (or equivalent) student
• References from two suitable persons/ University.
• Access to good internet bandwidth.
• Ability to adapt and integrate into a multicultural, multi-technology online working environment.
• Ability to interact with clients of many nationalities
• Integrity and honesty
• Good English, verbal and written (Other languages, including French, Indian, Chinese are a
Plus)
• Sales orientated approach
• Good broad knowledge of the financial world
You do not need to be studying for, nor qualified in terms of Mathematics or Finance but that's perfectly
acceptable, of course. We will give you exposure to the Markets and teach you. We are interested in
students who are good solid all rounders with a penchant for the internet, social marketing, sales, CRM.
Before starting, the students accepted for the internship will be required to sign a confidentiality
agreement, read and accept the company's Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering Manuals. Succesful
students will also be provided with a comprehensive operating manual to prepare themselves. Investors
Europe has been working with the French Grandes Ecoles since 2001. Currently we have two students,
one (a lady) from the Ecole de Management Léonard de Vinci http://www.devinci.fr and one from Rouen

2. The 6 month internship is not a paid internship but interns will get real operational responsibility and the
opportunity to onboard new clients. The working hours are normally either between 8h00 to 16h00 or
14h00 to 22h00 (NYSE Hours) online but this will be adapted to take the student's Time Zone into
consideration. At the end of the 6 month internship, apart from a formal evaluation of the student for
his/her respective College/ University, the Managing Director will write a specific career assessment for
the best interns.
