1. I AM A FAITHFUL SERVANT OF THE
LORD
Matthew 25:14-30

2. Matthew 25:14-30
v.14 "Again, it will be like a man going
on a journey, who called his servants and
entrusted his property to them.
v.15 To one he gave five talents[1] of
money, to another two talents, and to
another one talent, each according to his
ability. Then he went on his journey.

v.16 The man who had received the five
talents went at once and put his money
to work and gained five more.
v.17 So also, the one with the two
talents gained two more.

servants returned and settled accounts with

talent in the ground. See, here is what belongs
to you.‘

on deposit with the bankers, so that when I
returned I would have received it back with

the one who has the ten talents.
v.29 For everyone who has will be given more,
and he will have an abundance. Whoever does
not have, even what he has will be taken from
him.
v.30 And throw that worthless servant outside,
into the darkness, where there will be weeping
and gnashing of teeth.'

14. 1. A FAITHFUL SERVANT OF THE LORD IS USEFUL TO HIM
Matthew 25:16
The man who had received the five talents went at once
and put his money to work and gained five more.

darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of
teeth.‘
OUR PURPOSE IN LIFE IS TO BE USED BY GOD.
WE DONT USE GOD. GOD USES US.

v.20 The man who had received the five talents brought the
other five. 'Master,' he said, 'you entrusted me with five
talents. See, I have gained five more.‘

note: late in God's work is a sign of laziness

20. 3. A FAITHFUL SERVANT OF THE LORD IS NOT LAZY
1Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let
nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully
to the work of the Lord, because you know that
your labor in the Lord is not in vain

21. 3. A FAITHFUL SERVANT OF THE LORD IS NOT LAZY
Ecclesiastes 1:1-3
v.1 Everything Is Meaningless
The words of the Teacher, [1] son of David, king in Jerusalem:
v.2 "Meaningless! Meaningless!"
says the Teacher.
"Utterly meaningless!
Everything is meaningless.“
v.3 What does man gain from all his labor
at which he toils under the sun?

22. 1Timothy 4:1
The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon
the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by
demons.
2Timothy 4:3
For the time will come when men will not put up with sound
doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather
around them a great number of teachers to say what their
itching ears want to hear.
2Timothy 4:4
They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to
myths.

FEARFUL
Matthew 25:25
So I was afraid and went out and hid your
talent in the ground. See, here is what belongs
to you.'

to soul-winning and fruitfulness.
Faithful servants overcome shyness to
please their Lord.

Challenge: Are you willing to be counselled for ways

35. 6. A FAITHFUL SERVANT OF THE LORD IS REWARDED WITH
MORE AND ABUNDANCE
Matthew 25:29
For everyone who has will be given more, and
he will have an abundance. Whoever does not
have, even what he has will be taken from
him.

36. Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God,
because anyone who comes to him must believe that
he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly
seek him.
(AMP) But without faith it is impossible to please
and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come
near to God must [necessarily] believe that God
exists and that He is the rewarder of those who
earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].
