Route 67 is a public art
collection consisting of 67
artworks symbolising the 67
years of work that Nelson
Mandela dedicated to the
freedom and upliftment of

experience is aimed at
uniting previously divided
communities.
5. The Addo Elephant National Park
Addo Elephant National
Park is the third largest
national park in South
Africa. This beautiful
park, is home to over
550 elephants. Did you
know that although the
elephant has five toes,
not every toe has a nail.
6. Sandboarding at Maitland Sand
Dunes.
• Sand boarding is a
must, as these dunes
are easily accessible
and of course the best
part of the dunes is
sliding down.Although
the walk up is quiet a
draining walk up, it is
well worth it.
7. Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Museum
The Nelson Mandela
Metropolitan Art Museum’s
collection consist mainly of
South African art,
predominantly that of Eastern
Cape artists. Housed in two
separate buildings which frame
the entrance to St George’s
Park, the limited exhibition
space promotes the constant
rotation of artworks from their
permanent collection as well as
periodic exhibitions.
