This document summarizes an English public speaking class. It includes the following:
1) The class covered language knowledge through a listening exercise where students identified whether events were finished, unfinished, or present.
2) As an example, the class watched a presentation and critiqued things the presenter did poorly using a checklist.
3) Students then worked in groups to create presentations about the important aspects of giving a good presentation, such as organization, using the checklist and class materials as references. The class provided feedback on each group's presentation.
