Good Stuff Happens in 1:1 Meetings: Why you need them and how to do them well
Success dawns when you win the failures
1. Success dawns when you win the failures
Accepting failures is easier said than done, because human ego doesn’t permit
accepting failures. But almost every successful person who fell, took failure in his stride
and emerged successful.” TGC Prasad explains the saga of success through failures in
his upcoming book “Working Hard is Not Good Enough”
All eminent personalities have unsung stories of pain, loss and hard times that were
almost impossible to get through. Ignoring the failures when these personalities worked
with a single minded devotion towards their goal, success couldn’t be far away. Bill
Gates didn’t create the Microsoft global empire without a hurdle on his way. After
dropping out of Harvard and starting a failed first business with Microsoft co-founder
Paul Allen called Traf-O-Data he was undaunted to keep trying, every time evolving
from his mistakes. Ford cars are brand names today but during initial years when Henry
Ford started his business he failed several times before the successful Ford Motor
Company hit the market. A universal element common to all these people who rose to
fame that must be admitted is their perseverance to achieve irrespective of the up heals
in their journey. The journey to success has never been easier to anyone. But the works
accomplished with a true dedication, selfless spirit and a positive contribution to this
world never went unrewarded. A person basking in the sunshine of glory has a past that
will still continue to inspire to script new success stories. Failure is not when one fails to
achieve the intended goal at successive attempts but when the attempts halt before the
purpose is served. It rests on us how we accept the failures to create the pillars of
success.
