PROJECT UNDERTAKEN
 Postgraduate Main project- Nonwoven Based Solar Water Purifier.
Water is the basic necessity for human along with food and air. There is almost no water left on
earth that is safe to drink without purification. Only 1% of Earth's water is fresh water, liquid state,
and nearly all of this is polluted by both organic/inorganic impurities and toxic chemicals. For this
reason, purification of water supplies is extremely important. Keeping these things in mind, we have
designed a model which will convert the dirty/saline water into pure/potable water using needle
punched nonwoven fabric and renewable source of energy i.e. solar energy.
 Postgraduate Mini projects- To Study Seat Belt Manufacturing With Different Weaves.
This project was aimed to study of different weave (Plain, crepe, twill) effect on seat belt
manufacturing. The work was carried out on needle loom to produce seat belt by keeping various
parameter constant. Those seat belts were tested and critically analyzed for get better weave used
for seat belt.
 Undergraduate Project- To Study the Changes In Fibre Properties At Various Stages Of Open
End Spinning
This project was aimed to study the Changes in Fibre Properties at Various Stages of Open End
Spinning. The work was carried out on blow room, carding draw frame & rotor groove by keeping

3. various parameter constant. At each stage of processing we can measure fibre properties mainly
elongation.
