- After decades of "holy wars" between programming languages, operating systems, communications protocols and all the rest, it looks like we're all starting to realize that the world with fewer borders is the better one. Whatever you may think about Microsoft, there's one idea I'd like you to leave with: we want to be a part of that world.
- Microsoft and Novell have developed joint support capabilities to provide compatibility across their virtual machine platforms by taking advantage of the similarity between Hyper-V and Xen Hypervisor. The Hyper-V let IT administrators see how they could consolidate servers, standardize their Linux platform on SUSE Linux Enterprise server for increased performance, and reduce maintenance time with System CenterCustomers and Hosting providers can build on-premise private cloud infrastructure-as-a-service that scales across multi-source operating systems and applications using their existing hardware and software.
