2. 1. To begin with the Citrix XenApp 6.5 installation, insert Citrix XenApp 6.5 DVD and
run auto install.

3. 2. Dot Net 3.5 SP1 is a pre-requisite to install Citrix XenApp. Click Ok to automatically
install .Net 3.5 SP1.

4. 3. Click Add server roles, click Close.

5. 4. Select XenApp edition which you want to install. For the Lab purpose click Platinum
Edition.

6. 5. Read and accept the license, click Next.

7. 6. Select License Server role and XenApp, click Next.

8. 7. Select XML Service IIS Integration, click Next.

9. 8. Click Next.

10. 9. Click Install to being installation of Citrix XenApp 6.5.

11. 10. Click Finish and then restart the server to resume installation.

12. 11. After restart Citrix XenApp Server Role Manager will start automatically, if it
doesn’t start then run it manually and click on Resume Install.

13. 12. Click Install to resume the installation of Citrix XenApp.

14. 13. Click Finish once the installation is completed.
