Ippolit Lobanov has been involved in sports since childhood. He competed in various regional and veterans' competitions throughout his life, winning races in Kazan in 2006 and becoming the Russian champion in 2007. Lobanov also traveled internationally to compete, taking 6th place with his team at the European Championships in Helsinki and competing individually in Sacramento, where he placed 5th in the 300-meter race. In addition to his athletic career, Lobanov is a talented poet who has authored books of poetry in Russian and his local language.
2. He was born in 1951 in
the village of Nemtseva.
He has being interested
in sports since his
childhood.He was keen
in skiing and athletics.
He was a student at
Moscow State
Pedagogical
Institute.Then he was in
the army and continued
to take an active part in
sport competetions.

participant in various
regional competitions.
He didn’t stop taking
part in different
competitions even in
his veteran age.
4. He tried his hand at
veterans' events in Kazan.
Lobanov won the race in
100, 200 and 400 meters. It
was in 2006. In 2007 he
became the champion of
Russia. In the same year
Ippolit Lobanov traveled to
Helsinki for the winter
European Championships,
the World Cup in Italy, where
our team took the 6th place.
5. He was at the World Cup
in the United States too
(the city of Sacramento).
Here he was the the most
successful.He won the
300-meter race with a
score 50.52 and he
became the fifth.
6. Ippolit Lobanov is not only a good sportsman,
but he is a talented poet. He has his own
books of poems in Russian and
Gornomariysky languages. Lobanov is an
honored worker of culture of Mari El, a
member of the Writers' Union and the Union
of Journalists of Russia.
7. Ippolit Lobanov is not
going to stop.He‘ll
continue taking part in
different competitions of
Europe and the world.

stories about sport and
our motherland.He
inspires me to do sports
