Jacksonville Realtors Thursday endorsed retired Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Director Mike Williams
to replace John Rutherford, who has held the sheriff's post for 12 years.

Williams and his opponent, retired Officer Ken Jefferson were interviewed by the group, whose
board of directors made the announcement.
Rutherford is term-limited in the job. Voting is May 19.
The group announced other endorsements: Ju'Coby Pittman, At-Large Group 5; Mike Anania, District
1; George Spencer, District 7; Katrina Brown, District 8.
