How do you open an agency?

profile page
•Click on the settings button on the
top right corner

Under the user settings
on the left hand side of
your screen you will find
+Create a company
Once you click on that,
you will have two options
1. Create an Agency
2. Create a Client
Company
4. Choose your preferred agency name
I chose to call mine “My oDesk Agency” for
demonstration purposes
Click on the Create Agency button

Your oDesk Agency has now been
successfully created
Your next step should be to browse
for jobs

Your account is ready
You have started browsing for, applying,
and probably getting jobs
Now all you need is contractors
Quickly and easily find contractors and
send out invites

Next step is to get ready for the payments that
are surely coming
Click on the “Wallet” button
Go to the “Set up a Withdrawal Method” button

oDesk will present
you with withdrawal
options that are
available in your
country
Choose as many as
you want and fill out
the required details
The withdrawal
methods may take
up to a few days to
be completely set up

After selecting your withdrawal methods you
need to fill out taxation forms
If you are living in the United States then you
will be required to fill in Form W9
10. Step 8b
If you do not live in the United States you will
be required to fill in Form W8BEN
11. Your oDesk Agency is now complete

Timesheet Details report
12. Remember to read the oDesk Policy
Statements
Make sure you go through the
oDesk User Agreements
Make arrangements to pay your
contractors for fixed price jobs on
time
