3. LINES & STROKES Create V A L U E Depict FORM Don’t just coloring, be confident to show lines and strokes with your understanding.
5. LINES IMPLY FORM AND SPACE Keep your eyes on the subject you are drawing. Imagine that the point of your drawing tool is in actual contact with the subject. Do not let your eyes move more quickly than you can draw. Keep your eye and hand coordinated. Draw only where there is an actual, structural plane shift or where is a change in value, texture, or color. Do not worry about distorted of inaccurate proportion; they will improve after a number of sessions dedicated to forms and structures.
