15. Homo evidence
Ho·mo e·vi·dence

: evidence-based doctor. Makes
research-informed decisions, and
thinks research is useful but
complicated
16. Homo synthesis
Ho·mo syn·the·sis
noun ˌhō-(ˌ)mo- sin-ˈtē-sis-/
: a mutation of the homo evidence
that sparkled interest in
synthesising research in order to
help others.
26. Key messages
• Conducting reviews requires more than a few
people that have the capacity
• There are no shortcuts to build capacity inside
if there is no research infrastructure,
resources and tradition
• Generating the appropriate environment for
those returning from their training abroad is
key to succeed
But why this is so important?
In order to access information quickly, we need to have everything organised by question. We need expedite access to the “body of evidence” for a given question.
The problem is there is no such thing as a list of all the existing questions.
