11. What is the Bad News?
Eph 2:1 Andyou were dead in the trespasses and
sins 2 in which you once walked, following the
course of this world, following the prince of the
power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in
the sons of disobedience— 3 among whom we all
once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying
out the desires of the body and the mind, and
were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of
mankind.

12. Separation from God!
1. We are separated from God because of our
willful rebellion.
2. We are separated from God because of our
nature to rebel.
3. We are separated from God because we are by
nature and practice – followers of Satan.
4. We are separated from God because of His
wrath and are destined along with all mankind
– to experience His anger.

13. What Is the Problem?
On Our Own, We Are Destined for God’s Wrath
Nahum 1:6 Whocan stand before His indignation?
Who can endure the heat of His anger? His
wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are
broken into pieces by Him.
Romans 1:18 For
the wrath of God is revealed from
heaven against all ungodliness and
unrighteousness of men, who by their
unrighteousness suppress the truth.

14. The Fearful Wrath
On Our Own, We Are Destined for God’s Wrath
Rev. 6:15 Then
the kings of the earth and the great
ones and the generals and the rich and the
powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid
themselves in the caves and among the rocks of
the mountains, 16 calling to the mountains and
rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of
Him who is seated on the throne, and from the
wrath of the Lamb, 17 for the great day of their
wrath has come, and who can stand?”

15. What is the Good News?
Eph 2:4 ButGod, being rich in mercy, because of the
great love with which He loved us, 5 even when
we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive
together with Christ—by grace you have been
saved— 6 and raised us up with Him and seated
us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
7 so that in the coming ages He might show the
immeasurable riches of His grace in kindness
toward us in Christ Jesus.
