Exercise
 A. Mary’s Medigap open enrollment period will start in two
months. She tells you she plans to buy a policy in five
months. She has no other coverage. What should she
    know?
     1. If she needs any health care during the 3 months she
delays getting a Medigap policy, she would have to
pay the gaps in Original Medicare coverage out of
        pocket.
     2. She will still be in her Medigap open enrollment
period but should delay buying a Medigap policy.
     3. Her Medigap open enrollment period ends before
she plans to buy a policy. She may have to pay more.

                cost-of-living adjustments.
