1. HEALTH AND SAFETY

2. Health and safety is needed before we start filming as
we need to make sure there is no potential risks and
how to deal with it if there is. We have assessed each
risk for each of our locations to make sure there is not
problems during filming. Our locations are a graveyard,
church, library and college. There are a variety of
potential risks and dangers that could happen
therefore we need to make sure we deal with them
before we start filming.

3. Location : Graveyard.
Location.
Graveyard - Check out the location at first to make sure its safe.
Pick a suitable spot to film and don’t show any names of people on
graves.
Personal Safety.
- Need a clear day, no snow or frost creating slip hazards, could be
a potential risk with expensive equipment: Choose an appropriate
day to film and find a suitable spot and makes sure there's a lot of
us.
External Factors.
- Public around may be concerned or see it as disrespectful : Get
permission off council and let them know dates and times that we will be
filming.
Filming Activity.
- Panning shots may create trip hazards with wires: Clear path, clear all
wires and film during the day.

4. Location - Library
Location.
- Library: Check out location ,get permission to film, make sure its
safe to film there.
Personal Safety.
- Might be a potential target with all the equipment, might get
stolen: Make sure there's a lot of us and its safe.
- External Factors.
- Can be a lot people around and lot of people questioning why we are
filming or a lot of background noise: use certain equipment to block out
background noise. Also inform people around what we are doing.
Filming Activity.
-Up close shot and potential trip hazards: move wires and clutter and pick
a certain spot to film.

5. Location - Church
Location.
- Church: Check out location ,get permission to film, make sure its
safe to film there.
Personal Safety.
- Might be a potential target with all the equipment, might get
stolen: Make sure there's a lot of us and its safe.
- External Factors.
- Needs to be quiet environment, may need toget permission to use
certain props from church: Ask permission, make sure nothing is
happeneing at the church such as an event e.g funeral.
Filming Activity.
- Filming on tripod, dolly so lots of wires, hazards: Clear path and make
sure someone keeps moving them out of the way.

6. Location: College
Location.
- college: Permission to use certain rooms at certain times.
Personal Safety.
- Might be a potential target with all the equipment, some might
get broken: keep equipment with us at all times.
- External Factors.
- Can be a lot people around and lot of people questioning why we are
filming or a lot of background noise: use certain equipment to block out
background noise. Also inform people around what we are doing so they
don’t get in the shot.
Filming Activity
- dolly and pan shot so wires and path may not be clear: Make sure paths
always clear and no wires are in the way.
