2. Gender Stereotypes For genders, there are many different stereotypes for example for men, there are: Businessmen, Macho Men (alpha males) and the geek. For Women, there are: the Dumb Blonde, Housewife and the teenage rebel; however the stereotype ‘geek’ and ‘teenage rebel’ can be for both males and females.

3. Sexuality There are also some stereotypes for sexuality; for if a man were to be gay, he would have to be very flamboyant, camp, feminine and emotionally overreactive. If it were to be a lesbian: then she would have to be very ‘butch’ and have short hair. If it were to be a nymphomaniac: then he/she would be rude, very loud, not shy and would not care about anyone else’s feelings.
