100% Exemplary on the Map
              (15 points)
• Our map not only included all of the required
elements, our group made sure that each one
was particularly well thought out, well placed
  and carefully done.
• The map of our society was very well planned
  and designed.
The Expository Writing Piece
• Is your society an island? Landlocked by
mountains? Between two rivers? This might be a
good place to begin…Remember your hamburger
  structure!

You might start something like this…
Ferentopia is ideally located in the Pacific Ocean
just south of Fiji. Palm trees line our shores and
two rivers intersect in the center of the island…
To Do Today
Divide and choose your tasks:
Task 1: Expository writing piece (1-2
 paragraphs), explaining the location of
your society and why you have
structured your society the way you did.
Task 2: Create a map of your
society, with all the elements from the
 rubric (compass rose, title…)
