3.  The term ecosystem was coined by the British
Ecologist. A.G. Tansley in 1934 An ecosystem may be
defined as a dynamic system which includes biotic
living things and non- living things which interact
with each other to form the functional unit of nature.
An ecosystem can be natural or artificial.
