by the tapping of oleoresin and then the production and market situation of gum rosin.
Nowadays, in China gum turpentine is mainly consumed to produce terpene resins, synthetic
camphor, terpineol, etc. Along with the fast development of China’s gum turpentine derivatives, the
overseas enterprises tend to purchase Chinese-made gum turpentine As the main component of
turpentine, alpha-pinene (α-pinene) and beta-pinene (β-pinene) are also important forest chemicals
in China.
Since a large amount of pinene is exported annually in recent years, the global economy situation is
very important for pinene industry. After global financial crisis in 2008, global economy recovers
difficultly, though China takes the lead in economic recovery around the world, with the
implementation of massive stimulus package. However, the negative effects of massive stimulus
