Microsoft will launch Office 365 hosting locally in Australia in March 2015, addressing concerns over data sovereignty. The locally hosted Office 365 and Dynamics CRM services will be available in Sydney and Melbourne data centers. The presentation reviews the key advantages of Office 365 such as reduced costs and improved mobility and uptime compared to on-premises servers. Australian customers will be automatically upgraded to the local hosting option, but can choose to keep their data in other regions if desired.
