To Whom It May Concern,
I would like to express without any reservation my endorsement of Mr. Ritesh Mody, a smart,
capable, and industrious worker who makes outstanding contributions to our organization. As
the Mathematics Program Assistant at UW-Milwaukee's Panther Academic Support Services
(PASS), I have had the opportunity to supervise and mentor Ritesh over the 2014-2015
academic year, and he has proven to be one of my most trustworthy and helpful employees.
Ritesh's position with PASS was initially that of a tutor for various mathematics courses
including college algebra, trigonometry, and the four levels of the calculus sequence. I was
impressed with his level of content knowledge, but also with his commitment to learning from
us: our organization is a nationally accredited recipient of the College Reading and Learning
Association's "Learning Center of the Year" award, and Ritesh not only participated in our
training program, he sought out additional input and advice from myself and other senior
employees. He displayed a constant dedication to improving his skills as a math tutor and
academic coach, and was promoted in Spring 2015 to Supplemental Instruction Leader for
Calculus 2. This is one of the most difficult courses to coach students through, and Ritesh dove
into the role with vigor, and has impressed me once again with his dedication, empathy,
knowledge, and commitment.
I especially appreciate Ritesh's thoughtful approach to his work. Every time I have observed
him working with students, it is apparent to me that he has given thought to the content being
covered, to the learning styles of the students involved, and even to the communication
dynamics within the group of students he is working with. He is friendly, approachable,
always respectful, and not hesitant to seek out help and advice to improve his already
impressive performance.
2. Ritesh Mody is an outstanding employee. I have no doubt that his unique and outstanding
character will benefit any organization with which he is affiliated. I offer my unqualified
recommendation, and would be happy to answer any additional questions that you may have.
Sincerely,
Eric Kendall
