3. How to check you have git - type "git" into a
terminal

4. go to github.com

5. sign up for a free account

6. Set up git variables
git config --global user.name "My name"
git config --global user.email "myemail@gmail.com"

7. Fork your first repository

8. You can now edit the files!

9. Make sure git tracks all the files
git add .

10. Add a commit message
