1. About Director
I, RoopeshRaiSikand (Writer/Director/Producer), have been constantly working in the
direction of creating benchmarks in the Film Fraternity across the Nation through my excellent
skills & innovative ideas which i have developed so far in the field of Film and Video
Direction.
Born and bought up in Delhi (India), I achieved various milestones of my career through
constant dedication and hard work and the in-born spirit which drives me through my ups and
downs of the almighty’s sea saw shaped path of life. For the last several years, i have been
operating in Mumbai & Delhi.
I have enjoyed every single moment of my professional voyage by cruising through the highway
of success as it is the most rewarding and satisfying feeling one can experience after giving my
best shot to whatever comes my way.
AIMS, OBJECTIVES AND GOALS
Through my films, i want my audience to realize and sense the various dimensions of our
society. I want them to see the beautiful, as well as not so beautiful facets of life. I personally
feel that cinema is one of the strongest medium which offers its audience, a glimpse of this
versatile world through the ingenious vision of a Director.
FILM AS A CAREER
It was none other than me I who was adamant to pursue Films as a Career. I started working
in this field ever since i was 19 and by the time i reached the age of 22, i was already blessed
with 3 honors. This gave me an insight and also boosted my confidence to move ahead in the
profession of “my choice”. I started dreaming to become the most successful Director right from
that tender age.
GUESTFACULTY AT VARIOUS MEDIA INSTITUTES
I have been to various Media Institutes in Delhi (India), like JIMS (JaganNath Institute of
Management Sciences), YWCA (Young Women Christen Association), I. P. College
(Indraprastha College) etc. as a Guest faculty. Apart from this, i have also been frequently
attending various award functions and competitions as Jury Member in India & abroad.
BACKGROUND
I graduated from Delhi University and belongto a well cultured family as my upbringing has
completely been under the guidance of my father with whom, i could never ever imagine
breaching the guidelines of discipline.
GLOBAL EXPOSURES
Iam a travel freak and in this context i feel privileged to state that he has travelled to most of
the exotic destinations across the globe which in turn can also be good locations for my shoots
(Specially the European ones). People want to see the most explored and most talked about
destinations but on the contrary, i wish to visit a place which is least explored. A virgin
destination is even better. I want to travel to global destinations just for the sake of Location
Hunting which also opens a wide frame of his thought process.

2. PROFESSIONAL GUIDANCE
Professionally, i feel inspired by Sai Baba who is also my Guru, and my mentor. I personally
solace at Baba’s doorsteps whenever i feel lonely or stressed out and when iam seeking creative
guidance for valuable inputs to my projects. I have a strong feeling that Baba will never ever
take me to a path which is not meant for me or which can distract me from my actual path.
