Microsoft Office is a popular set of interrelated desktop applications, servers and services.
Microsoft Office is collectively referred to as an office suite, for the Microsoft Windows and
Mac OS X operating systems. Office was introduced by Microsoft in 1989 on Mac OS,[1]
with
a version for Windows in 1990.[2]
Initially a marketing term for a bundled set of applications,
the first version of Office contained Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft
PowerPoint. Additionally, a "Pro" version of Office included Microsoft Access and Schedule
Plus. Over the years, Office applications have grown substantially closer with shared features
such as a common spell checker, OLE data integration and Microsoft Visual Basic for
Applications scripting language. Microsoft also positions Office as a development platform
for line-of-business software under the Office Business Applications (OBA) brand.
The current versions are Office 2007 for Windows, launched on January 30, 2007,[3]
and
Office 2008 for Mac OS X, released January 15, 2008. Office 2007/Office 2008 features a
new user interface and a new OOXML document format (docx, xlsx, pptx). Microsoft has
made available a free add-on known as the "Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack" that lets

9. Office 2000-2003 (for Windows) and 2004 for Mac editions open, edit, and save documents
created under the new Office 2007 formats.
Microsoft Publisher, officially Microsoft Office Publisher, is a desktop publishing
application from Microsoft. It is an entry-level application, differing from Microsoft Word in
that the emphasis is placed on page layout and design rather than text composition and
proofing.
Features
Microsoft Publisher 2007 provides simple story editing with Microsoft Word 2007, but
unlike Adobe InDesign & Adobe InCopy, it does not provide built in XML story board and
copy-editing support. Also, unlike the core Office 2007 applications, it does not feature the
Ribbon user interface.

10. Adobe Photoshop, or simply Photoshop, is a graphics editing program developed and
published by Adobe Systems. It is the current and primary market leader[citation needed]
for
commercial bitmap and image manipulation, and is the flagship product of Adobe Systems. It
has been described as "an industry standard for graphics professionals"[1]
and was one of the
early "killer applications" on the PC.[2]
Adobe's 2005 "kjgjvyu rstst uyuimikj yfuyd rsrstrs ydtygu] of Adobe Photoshop. The CS
rebranding also resulted in Adobe offering numerous software packages containing multiple
Adobe programs for a reduced price. Adobe Photoshop is included in most of Adobe's
Creative Suite offerings.
Due to its popularity, "photoshop" has become both a verb to refer to photo editing and a
genericized trademark for graphics editing software. Photoshop's popularity, combined with
its high retail price, makes Photoshop's piracy rate relatively high.[3]
Adobe countered by
including SafeCast DRM starting with Adobe Photoshop CS.

11. Antivirus Software:
ESET NOD32 Antivirus (Features)
NOD32 was created in the early 1990s when computer viruses were becoming increasingly
prevalent.
Initially the program gained popularity with IT workers in Eastern European countries, as
ESET was based in Slovakia. Though the program's abbreviation was originally pronounced
as individual letters, recent worldwide use of the program has led to the more common
single-word pronunciation, sounding like the English word nod.[2]
The company reached its
3000th update to virus definitions on April 3, 2008.
The acronym NOD stands for "Nemocnica na Okraji Disku" (hospital at the edge of the disk),
a pun related to the Czechoslovakian medical drama series Nemocnica na okraji mesta
(hospital at the edge of the city).
[edit] ESET Smart Security
On November 5, 2007, ESET released an Internet security suite, ESET Smart Security, to
compete with other security suites by other companies such as McAfee, Symantec, AVG and
Kaspersky. ESET Smart Security incorporates anti-spam and a bidirectional firewall along
with traditional anti-malware features of ESET NOD32 Antivirus.
[edit] ESET SysInspector
ESET SysInspector is a diagnostic tool which allows in depth analysis of various aspects of
the operating system, including running processes, registry content, startup items and network
connections. Anti-Stealth Technology is used to discover hidden objects (rootkits) in the
Master Boot Record, boot sector, registry entries, drivers, services and processes.
SysInspector Logs are standard XML files and can be submitted to IT experts for further
analysis. Two logs can be compared to find a set of items not common to both logs.

[edit] ESET Remote Administrator
ESET Remote Administrator is a central management console designed to allow network
administrators to manage ESET software across a corporate network.
[edit] ESET Mobile Antivirus for Windows Mobile
ESET Mobile Antivirus is aimed at protecting Windows Mobile Smartphones from viruses,
spyware, adware, trojans, worms, rootkits, and other unwanted software. It also provides
antispam filtering for SMS messages.
