It is a quiet little town of about 100 people. My wife Miriam, my son Harrison, and I live in a 120 year old house. - 3. Royce Kitts Graduate Student School of Library and Information Management Emporia State University [email_address] My work life: I have been a librarian for about 6 years now. I currently work as a reference librarian and honestly enjoy going to work. There is something very satisfying about helping people out. Something I am sure that you folks enjoy about your future careers as well. My main work focus is on technology and how to make it work for us at the library. (Somehow I still manage to have hair!)

Theory courses are fun aren’t they? I just finished the last of mine this summer, and was hoping that after 6 theory courses I wouldn’t even have to say that word again for a long time. But theory can be fun, it is the foundation upon which all learned thought is built.

Royce Kitts Graduate Student School of Library and Information Management Emporia State University [email_address] My future plans are to finish school and become the director of a public library. This might take awhile, but I have patience. Looking far ahead, I would like to be an instructor in Library Science. I think that my knowledge of technology and user needs bring a much needed skill set to the discipline.
