Students will be able to solve a minimum of three basic problems relating to ratios
Students will use materials provided by the teacher to better understand the concept of ratios,[object Object]
If Two Slices of Pizza are taken away from an eight slice pizza, how many slices are left?
Answer= 6 slices of pizza
Now that 2 slices of pizza have been taken away, there are 6 out of 8 slices left. After Before
Now that we have 6 out of 8 slices left, the ratio will be…  6/8
Denominator: The denominator is the whole amount and is always displayed on the bottom of another number. Numerator: The numerator is the amount that is remaining from the whole number and is always displayed above the denominator.
