I have had to change the song choice for my
chosen idea which means the song connotes
different key themes, this has meant I have
to create some new ideas

2. Idea 1
• Style of Video – performance
• The main protagonist is singing the song in a bright and colourful forest
while walking through it and looks at the various aspect of nature. He
looks at objects that then use a graphic match edit to relate to a flashback
of the woman he loves and the memories he has of her. The editing speed
is quite high to relate to the speed of the lyrics which I think could make
the video a little to fast for a narrative so the video should focus more on
the performance aspect of this idea.

3. Idea 2
• Style of Video – Abstract
• The video shown lots of images that connote fun and happiness but also
shows how the singer, who is shown a lot throughout the
video, remembers the woman he lost. This is shown by the juxta-position
of the shots of him and the shots of the two of them together. The key
iconography of the video is nature and life to connote how the
relationship he misses was full of life. This contrasts with the slightly less
lively mise-en-scene of the shots where he is on his own. This video ends
with the two people being in the same shot and the shot is full of colour
and life to connote that they are happy together.

4. Idea 3
• Style of Video – Performance (with narrative elements)
• The main singer of the video is singing in under a big tree in the bright sun.
The shot is full of colour and is very bright to connote the same theme of
life and happiness the song has. The band are using items form nature as
their instruments and the leaves are falling all around them. The main
singer goes is also shown running through the forest with a woman an the
shots are full of movement and colour to connote life. The video changes
when the songs starts to repeat itself as it starts to show the man and the
woman apart from each other and the shots become much more still but
the editing speed increases gradually as the song gets more intense.
Eventually the shots are really short and quick and full of movement to
connote the song is getting faster. The last few seconds show the two
people together and getting closer to each other and being surrounded by
nature and falling leaves in slow motion as the song fades out
