17. Definition of the BP Competency Linked business activities with a defined trigger and outcome, standardized by SharePoint and/or custom automated workflow processes. SharePoint workflow facilitates the simple routing of tasks and documents between people; in this case SharePoint is the primary user application. Business Process Management (BPM) orchestrates the movement and continuous optimization of work between people and systems; in this case, the user’s business process application is delivered on top of the SharePoint platform.
