When his turn comes, the receptionist tests the car for preexisting conditions. The customer waits in the waiting area while the vehicle waits its turn. The vehicle is checked for suspension errors at work station 1, then the motor is checked at work station 2, and finally the brake system is checked in work station 3. Vehicles are served on FIFO basis, and the transportation time between work stations is negligible.
