• There are 18 students
• 8th grade, 10 girls and 8 boys
• Diverse ethnic
backgrounds:60% white (12),
20 % African American (4)
,10% Asian (2)(Japanese,
Chinese), and 10% (2)(African
(Pakistanis, Iraqis)
• Students with special needs: 4
students have mild ADHD
(attention deficit hyperactivity
disorder)

3. Main objective
• The students will be able to
recognize the different
grammatical tenses and write
sentences using them by
listening to songs, writing on
the board, filling the blanks
and playing games relating to
the grammatical tenses by the
end of the week with 95%
accuracy

4. Day by Day Breakdown
• 1 day: El tiempo presente simple (present tense)
• 2 day: El tiempo pasado (past tense)
• 3 day: El tiempo futuro (future tense)
• 4 day: El presente perfecto( present perfect)
• 5 day: El subjuntivo (subjunctive tense)
