In this introductory letter, followed by relative detailed presentation of the historical
development of CHROMATOURGIA TRIPOLEOS S.A. – but most important of its present activities –
we are pleased to inform you on what we can offer to the various customers in the field of:
«DYES FOR SEVERAL INDUSTRIAL USES»
Established in 1890, in the town of Tripolis (in the region of Peloponessus, Greece – shown
on the attached map) the company has also specialized in the manufacturing of:
«DYES FOR TEXTILE, LEATHER & FUR»
Being in this field since 1892, the company is still today supplying the Greek and the InternationalMar-
kets with high quality dyes for such applications, while in the mean time has extended the activities al-
so in other fields, in order to cover new market requirements (as above Dyes for fuels).
For the purpose of expansion and modernization, the company has moved its activities to other indus-
trial areas (see attached map):

4. «DYES FOR PETROLEUM FUELS (GASOLINE & DIESEL)»
To cover the needs of the Greek Petroleum Industry, that is performed by four (4) Refineries operating in
Greece as well as by the individual retail companies (BP, SHELL and other).
In our Production Plant at Kastro, under strict process quality controlled conditions (EN ISO 9001:2008)
we manufacture and deliver to several customers a large variety of Dyes. In particular, we have long con-
tractual relationship with the major Petroleum Company HELLENIC PETROLEUM S.A., and we supply
their three (3) Refineries with all the types of Dyes/Markers for the different qualities of Gasoline and
Diesel, presently in use in Greece.
We also supply major European firms in the chemical and petroleum sectors providing them with high
quality intermediates and semi-finished products that are further on processed by them in order that
they can sell finished products under their brand names.
We have the facilities and the ability to cover –with top Quality Products and Custom Made Solutions -
requirements of customers in Greece and abroad and so we are available to receive inquiries, always
ready to fulfil any needs you may have on the subject.

We manufacture organic dyestuffs suitable for the Leather and Textile industry, as well as for further ap-
plications like wool, synthetic fibers, paper and fur.
We offer a wide range of dyestuffs, categorized according to their application strengths and combined
according to custom made solutions.

10. Dermacid & Dermacid L dyes
Anionic Acid dyes show excellent penetration on light and
heavy leathers, suitable for dyeing the leather’s cross section.
These dyes are characterized by medium to high fastness,
and are suitable for nubuck & suede with high light and wet
fastness.
When matching a shade, the selection of the most suitable
dye is made always with consideration to our customer’s
end product.

Dermacid M dyes
Anionic Metal complex 1:2 dyes with two sulpho-groups,
show increased solubility, even when applied in cold water.
They have a high fixation degree, an enhanced bond between
the dye and collagen, which results in high wet and light
fastness. These dyes can be used on all skins, depending on
the final product; shoe, bag, garment, upholstery or others.

11. Dermacid R dyes
Dermacid R are special leather dyes suitable for matching
very brilliant shades. This special range is suitable for dyeing
leather for kids & sport shoes, high-end leather, plus it is
ideal for enhancing the crust of the surface.
These dyes have good fastness in water and in perspiration.
In general they show excellent penetration even in small
percentages, meaning that the dyeing time is minimized.

Dermasol dyes
Anionic Direct dyes with high tinctorial yield on the surface
of the leather. Their result is a deep and brilliant dyeing.

12. Chromafur dyes
Chromafur dyes are anionic acid dyes suitable for dyeing the
hair of sheepskin in hot baths. These dyes are successfully
applied on several types of fur, such as rabbit, interfino and
fox under the suitable conditions. They have very good light
and wet fastness. With the right application method, the
staining on the skin (suede) is diminished. At the highest
possible temperature we observe the best results.

We manufacture liquid Solvent Organic dyes suitable for the refineries & the oil industry, in fuels, lubricants,
greases, waxes as well as aerobatic smoke dyes.
Our Product range includes:
Marker Dyes…
Each country has its own regulations for marking heating
oil and engine fuels. The purpose is to distinguish fuels of
different taxation levels as well as prevent fuel fraud.

21. DYES FOR THE TEXTILE INDUSTRY
Textile Dyes

22. 1.TRIAMINE: Direct dyes for the dyeing of cotton and viscose. Low cost items, suitable for the
dyeing of articles which are nοt going to be exposed to severe conditions, as they
have low moderate to light and wet fastness.
2.TRIASOL: Direct dyes for the dyeing of cellulose with «good» to «very good» light fastness. Full
range is available.
3.TRIACTIVE DYES: They have excellent wash fastness at 60oC. Suitable for the dyeing of big spun of ar-
ticles. Most of them have good light fastness too. Two ranges are available.
Cold branch: Vinyl sulphone and bifunctional Reactive dyes. They dye cotton and
rayon at 40-60oC. There is no influence to the yield and shade from temperature or
dyeing ratio variations. Suitable for exhaustion and
continuous dyeing methods (pad batch, pad steam etc).
Hot branch: They dye cotton and rayon at 80oC. High
substantivity and high reactivity guarantee maximum
yield. Recommended for the dyeing of knitted goods
or yarns in long baths.
4. TRIANTHREN: Vat dyes for the dyeing of cotton. Excellent light and
wet fastness. Suitable for exhaustion as well as for con-
tinuous methods. Trianthren Olive T is suitable for the
dyeing of army articles.
5. TRIACID: Acid dyes for the dyeing of wool, silk and polyamide. They are exhausted by the fibre
from an acid bath. They have good to very good light fastness.
6.TRIPOLAN: Acid metal complex 1:1 dyes for wool, polyamide and their blends. They have very
well to excellent light and wet fastness. The fibre from a strong acid bath exhausts
them.
7.TRIOLAN: Acid metal complex 1:2 dyes for the dyeing of wool, silk, polyamide and their blends.
They are exhausted by the fibre from a slight acid bath. They contain two sulpho-
groups in their molecule. As a result they have excellent solubility and excellent light
and wet fastness.

23. 8. TRISPERSE: Disperse dyes for the dyeing of synthetic fibres.
P: suitable for the dyeing of polyamide fibres. Particular suitable for the dyeing of
yarn and women stocking. They are not suitable for items which are ECOTEX stan-
dard 100 Certified.
S: suitable for the dyeing of polyester fibres and polyester/cotton at HT conditions.
They are also suitable for continuous dyeing methods as Thermosol or Thermofix.
High stability to thermofixation (sublimation).
E, B: Suitable for the dyeing of polyester and its blends at temperature 105-130oC
for rapid dyeings and continuous methods too. They have very good levelling
and migration power. They are able to cover “unevenness defects” of the article.
They are suitable for the dyeing of textured polyester, polyester/wool,
polyester/rayon and polyester/lycra blends. Moderate thermo fixation stability
(sublimation).
9. TRIACRYL DYES: Modified basic dyes for the dyeing of acrylic fibres and
blends. Very good levelling and migration power. High
tinctorial strength. They have very good to excellent
light and wet fastness too.
10. TRIOFOS: Optical brighteners for the brightening of cellulose fi-
bres such as cotton, rayon, and paper pulp.Triofos M
450 is suitable for the detergent industry too.
