 The verbs in the simple past consist of particle ED at
the end, and for that, you must follow some rules:
 - Verbs ending in E has only earn D: dance=danced
 - Verbs ending in a consonant + y, lose and gain IED

 - Verbs ending in a vowel + y, just make ED: play =
played.
 - Verbs ending in consonant + vowel + consonant,
double the last consonant and earn ED: stop =
stopped

 - Affirmations
 The affirmative sentences with irregular verbs
make up the subject if + past simple of the verb:

 Interrogations (regular and irregular)
 The questions in the simple past of the auxiliary
DID ask for help (past DO) + the normal form of
the verb:

 - Did she sleep?
