o A semi-annual meeting that guides the performance management process.

co-insurance benefit
o For HSA plans, deductibles are based on the coverage level
o For Premier plan, deductibles are based on the individual
• Coinsurance: Once the deductible is reached, employee and Moss
Adams split costs on a defined percentage basis
• Out-of-pocket maximum: Once an employee has reached this

WHAT’S A HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNT?
• Two parts: Health Savings Account + medical plan with high
deductible
o HSA account and/or out-of-pocket funds pay for your day-to-day health costs
o If your costs reach the deductible, insurance coverage begins
• All care except preventive care is subject to the deductible
o Including doctor’s office visits, prescriptions, and all other medical care
o Network providers discount their costs to negotiated rates, saving you money
• Designed to give you incentives to use health care services wisely
and to give you greater control over how your health care dollars
are spent
• May be used as a long-term strategy to save money for future
medical expenses
o When you retire, use HSA funds to buy health care insurance, pay out-of-pocket
health costs, or fund your living expenses.

• The Profit Sharing Plan is a way for you to participate in the success
of the firm
• On the first January 1 or July 1 after completing two years of service
you are eligible for the Moss Adams profit sharing contribution
• Contributions and the level of contributions are discretionary
o The firm has historically contributed 3% of eligible compensation up to the
current FICA limit ($113,700), and 6% of eligible compensation exceeding that
limit, up to $255,000.
• Individuals who are employed on December 31 of the calendar year
are eligible for this contribution which is typically made within the
first few weeks of the following calendar year
• You are fully vested in the firm’s contribution when it is made

NEXT STEPS – ENROLLING IN BENEFITS
• Welcome email in approximately 2 weeks grants you access to
enrollment system (sent on Fridays only)
• If you do not actively waive medical coverage, you will be defaulted
into the Premier medical plan
o Make sure to visit the Moss Adams Online Benefit Center and actively
waive your medical coverage online
• If you do not receive your welcome email in 2 weeks, email
benefits@mossadams.com for assistance
• If you need enrollment assistance, call the Moss Adams Benefit

• Be sure to choose your benefits and enroll within 31 days of start

o Most benefits effective on the 1st of the month on or following

discrepancies
• ID Cards
o Aetna cards mailed to your home in 2-3 weeks
o Temporary Aetna cards can be printed online
o Dental and vision cards are printed online only

AFTER YOU ENROLL
• Evidence of Insurability
o If you chose over $50,000 of life coverage for your spouse/domestic
partner or $250,000 for yourself, you will receive a form to fill out in
the mail and return to CIGNA
o Until approval, amounts that are pending will not be in effect nor will
you be charged premiums
• HSA set-up
o If you selected HSA I or HSA II, Aetna will automatically open your
account at Chase bank
• Direct deposit sign-up for FSA
o Get faster claims reimbursement with direct deposit if you enrolled in
health care and/or dependent care FSA
o Go to Moss Adams Benefit Center and click on SHPS FSA Link to access
your account and set up direct deposit
