1. Current How did you attract/address your audience? Throughout the process of making my magazine I made sure that my magazine would both attract and entertain my audience. To begin with I thought about what kind of artist I would have on the front of my cover, and I decided that having a new pretty young music artist would draw in girls who aspire to be like her. The model I chose was Izzy Viney, who I felt had the right look for my magazine. As you can see from my pictures, you can see quite clearly the comparisons between my model and the celeb who I styled much of my model around Pixie Lott (Singer). You can see the similar outfit and hair styling, although Lott’s is obviously professionally styled, I think there is a clear similarity between the two, therefore I felt it draws the audience in.
2. Current How did you attract/address your audience? Another way which I attracted and addressed my audience was to make my magazine cover very much like a conventional magazine cover, and by using a bold font for the Masthead I thought it would attract my audiences attention. I didn't want my magazine cover overloaded with too much writing as I personally find that slightly off putting when buying a magazine, therefore I went for less writing but with fancy font. This would attract my female audience as it looks slick and girly.
