For past many days, I have
noticed that some people are constantly making false, distorted and
hypocritical statements that “Surdhans” (Martyr) were Muslims by religion
and hence all people who pay respects to Surdhan are Muslims.

In order to understand this issue, one needs to understand, who is
“Surdhan”?
Meaning of Surdhan is:
1) A stone monument in memory of a martyr who died in a war.
2) A martyr, a person who died in war and a stone monument raised in his
memory.
