The document discusses renovating the pool area at Greytown School. It will involve changes to the seating, pool, surrounding area, and changing rooms. Suggestions for the renovations include adding solar panels, insulation, a solar cover, grip pads, cushioned seats, plastic covers, and double glazed windows. The students expect the renovated pool area to have improved facilities.
We are changing the:
Seating Area because they are like decking and aren’t very comfortable and are also very slippery when you get out of the pool.
The Pool because its fully made of concrete and is on land not in ground.
The Area is going to go into the bike shed a bit more because the pool needs to be bigger in width and also there is way too many trees and the gates are going to be upgraded and have more security.
Also the Changing Rooms are very gloomy and hardly have any light in them and are also very cold and are very slippery inside and also needs to be increased in size. Also the foundation also known as ground is really uneven and if you run it hurts your feet so that needs to be redone.

Solar Panels can be installed at the bottom of the pool, then the pool can be solar heated so when its cold the water will be warmer. Also at the top of the changing rooms so they are power by them for lighting.
Pink Batts to help keep the changing rooms warmer.
A solar cover because not only will it keep the pool warm as well, it will prevent any unwanted flying stuff going into the pool on a windy day.
For the changing rooms we decided to use grip pad which is very cheap and will keep you from slipping over after a swimming lesson.
Also for the seating we chose cushioned plastic covered seats, which will be comfortable for people waiting for their swim or being instructed by their teacher and also will be water proof for those who are waiting to be told to go into the changing rooms after the swim.
The changing rooms will also have bigger windows at the top of the building and they will be double lazed.

3 big water tanks, a filtering system & the changing rooms we thought will look like this. And we don’t have a plan for the pool to look like, but we have a visual plan.
