estimate. A study found that children are made
to work by compulsion and not by choice,
mostly by parents but with recruiters playing a
crucial role in influencing decision. Poor and
bonded families sell their child to contractors
who promise lucrative jobs in the cities. And the
children end up being employed in brothels,
hotels and domestic work. Many run away and
find the life on streets.
