2. HISTORY OF BRITANNIA DRIVING SCHOOL
• Britannia Driving School was established in January 1993 and now has over 90
licensed driving instructors servicing London, Surrey and Middlesex. Whilst our
school is best known for providing driving lessons, Pass Plus, motorway and
refresher courses, we also specialize in the training of driving instructors. The
management team is made of up driving instructors, ADI (ORDIT) trainers and
business entrepreneurs. We have a wide range of knowledge and experience in
all areas of the driver training industry, and play an active part in lobbying the
government on road safety, learner driver and instructor training issues. Every
year, Britannia teaches in excess of 10,000 new drivers and trains over 50 driving
instructors, and the numbers increase every year.

• Britannia Driving Schools’ intensive courses run for 6 days with a test on the 7th day.
• The 3 hours for the day of the test consists of 1½ hours practice prior to the test, one hour
for the driving test and half an hour to get the candidate home.
• The above prices are for manual car intensive. If you require automatic intensive courses
please add £2 per hour extra for your selected course of lessons.

7. THEORY TEST
Top Tips For Passing Your Theory Test
• The theory test is a computer-based test and consists of two parts: multiple choice and hazard
perception. You must pass both sections at the same time.
• If you fail one section, you will have to take the whole test again. You must pass the theory test before
you are allowed to book your driving test.
The Multiple Choice Test
• The pass mark is 43 out of 50 and the time allowed to complete the test is 57 minutes. Some
questions may ask for two or more correct answers from a selection of four.
• Read every question very carefully. Read every answer very carefully. Don’t skip words, don’t jump to
conclusions and don’t assume the question says something it doesn’t
