2. What is QuickTeam?
We are developing an Android App to help people or
managers to organize sporting events and games with their
friends or sport team. They can set the location, time and
date and use the inbuilt messaging service to communicate
with team members. There is also a feature that allows the
user to create formations and set up their teams.

3. We are addressing the problem that sports team managers
have when compiling a team for an upcoming fixture. The app
can also be used for friends to get together to play sport. The
sender/manager can enter venues, times and durations by
simply entering details using the app’s access to text
messaging, emails and contacts. In addition to this the
sender/manager can select or enter team formations, playing
styles and tactics to the team.

What problem does QuickTeam solve?
4. • 78% said that they thought it was a good or very good idea
• 57% said they thought a sports coach would use the app to organise
a match
• 50% said they would use the formation and tactics feature, with the
other 50% saying that they liked having the option
Comments:
“love the app idea… you’ve hit a gap”
“happy that it is for all sports and not just football

6. How Does Quick Team Solve a
Problem?
Organizing teams, fixtures and formations can be a hassle,
and QuickTeam solves the issue in 3 ways.
1. Provides a ‘chat’ service for team members to
communicate.
2. Allows teams to organize their formations.
3. Clearly shows where and when the event is happening.

7. Competition
We found an app called TeamSnap. This app provides a
group messaging and calendar service, as well as general
information with upcoming fixtures and statistics. For the
messaging and schedule service it is free all year round, but
for all other features there is a minimum price of £7.99 a
month.
Our app has similar features to TeamSnap, but it is not just a
calendar and messaging service, because it allows team
formations to be set up, and has an integrated contact
system for communicating with ease, and for free.

8. Flow of app and core
features
QuickTeam @_Quick_Team_ @_Quick_Team_
The app will have 3 main
screens: A home screen, a
sports team screen (variable
sports) and a messaging screen.
This keeps the app simple but
effective. The app’s core feature
is to be able to drag and drop
contracts onto the playing field
and allowing them to create
tactics and formations.

12. We built our app around ideas that are all
feasible, so we do not foresee any issues
with the creation of the app.
It does require a bit of space for team data to
be stored, but this is not a major issue as
there is not a lot of data needed.

Business Case & Customer pledges
Our app is free to use. We would enable a premium app,
essentially for managers so that they can manage multiple
teams through the app, but for the majority of users, who
would use the free version, we would monetize it by including
advertisements.
14. Marketing Strategy
Here are marketing strategies we used:
1) Social Media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook)
2) Website
3) Online Survey
4) Video available to watch on YouTube

15. App Design Mock-up
We have created a website and have created social media
pages with the three main social networks. We have also
conducted an online survey and collected results from it. We
also have made a professional video that is currently on
YouTube.

Explain “sporting events”
Use your key insights statements from your findings during Scoping to provide evidence that your app is solving a genuine problem in a different way for users.
Examples:
Buzzer Buddiez: you wake up to hit snooze/ switch off the alarm, but don’t get up. Friends and family i.e. social pressure can help to push you to actually get out of bed.
Transit: parent- teacher conferences are not open-ended conversations. You can map the key areas of negative feedback around attendance, behaviour, results etc. to bridge the conversation between parents and teachers.
Oyster on the Go: Oyster travel data can already be accessed online, the key trick is to make it easily accessible on the go.
Cattle Manager: You can keep a simple record of your actions on your phone
Summarise what you have learnt about data, content and technical feasibility.
This is crucial, if your product relies heavily on any of these areas. If your product does not rely on them heavily, please explain why. This will show that your team has really understood feasibility well.
