4. Switch off phones and place
in the area shown to you on

5. Leave all other electronic devices
and personal belongings in this area

6. No talking during the exam
(except when asked to)

7. Do not open the test booklet until told
to do so

8. Bring pen and pencils and eraser

9. Take identity documents
e.g passport

10. Bring a recent colour photo
of yourself

11. Do not take food or drink
into the exam room

12. Don’t cheat !
e.g look at other people’s test

13. Do not take any IELTS
materials into the test
room

14. Do not lend or try to borrow anything
from another candidate

15. Do not leave the room
until the test is over

16. Do not remove any test materials from
the room

17. Raise your hand if you urgently need to
speak to the invigilator

18. Stop writing when you are told to
