2. The objective of this presentation is
to show good deeds which forgive
bad deeds by dividing these good
deeds into seasons.
We concentrated more on
forgiveness hadith, but also
we showed some hadith
which have deeds which
will lead to heaven
(Jannah).

4. This season talks about
good deeds which can
be performed weekly.
These deeds are options
for those who did not
performed well in daily
deeds taking into
considering that muslim
should do his best in
daily deeds. 4
5. 1) Jumu'ah Prayer
- Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him)
reported: Messenger of Allah (Peach Be Upon
Him) said, "The five (daily) Salat (prayers), and
from one Jumu`ah prayer to the (next) Jumu`ah
prayer, and from Ramadan to Ramadan are
expiations for the (sins) committed in between
(their intervals); provided the major sins are not
committed". [Muslim].
- Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him)
reported: Messenger of Allah (Peach Be Upon
Him) said, "He who performs his Wudu' perfectly
and comes to Jumu`ah prayer and listens (to the
Khutbah) silently, the sins which he has
committed since the previous Friday plus three
more days (i.e., 10 days) will be forgiven for him.
One who distracts himself with pebbles during the
Khutbah will not get the (Jumu`ah) reward".

6. Salman Al-Farisi (May Allah be pleased
with him) reported: Messenger of Allah
(Peach Be Upon Him) said, "If a man
takes a bath on Friday, purifies himself
thoroughly, uses oil and perfume which is
available in the house, sets forth for the
mosque, does not (forcibly) sit between
two persons, offers the prayer that is
prescribed for him and listens to the
Imam silently, his sins between this
Friday and the previous Friday will be
forgiven.'‘ [Al-Bukhari].

7. 2) Reciting Surah Al-Kahf on Friday
Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri (May Allah be
pleased with him) reported: The
Messenger of Allah (Peach Be Upon Him)
said: “Who ever recite Surat Al-Kahf on
Friday, Light will be shaning for him
between two Fridays” [An-Nasa'i].
3) Al-Fajr Prayer in Congregation on Friday
Ibn `Umar (May Allah be pleased with
them) reported: The Messenger of Allah
(Peach Be Upon Him) said : “The best
prayer to Allah is Fajr prayer on Friday in
Congregation”. (Imam Albani said this
hadeeth is Saheeh). 7
8. 4) Time of accepting supplication on Friday
- Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him)
reported: The Messenger of Allah (Peach Be Upon
Him) said while talking about the merits of Friday,
"There is a time on Friday at which a Muslim,
while he (or she) is performing Salat and is
supplicating, will be granted whatever he (or she)
is supplicating for.'' And he (Peach Be Upon Him)
pointed with his hand to indicate that this period
of time is very short. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
- Abu Burdah bin Abu Musa Al-Ash`ari (May Allah
be pleased with him) reported: `Abdullah bin
`Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) said to
me: "Did you hear your father narrating
something from the Messenger of Allah (Peach Be
Upon Him) about the special moment during
Friday?'' I said: "Yes, I heard him report from the
Messenger of Allah (Peach Be Upon Him): `It
occurs between the time when the Imam sits
down (on the pulpit after the first Khutbah) and
the time Salat is over.''‘ [Muslim]. 8
9. 5) Monday & Thursday
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with
him) said: The Messenger of Allah (Peach
Be Upon Him) said, "The gates of Jannah
are opened on Mondays and Thursdays,
and then every slave (of Allah) is granted
forgiveness if he does not associate
anything with Allah in worship. But the
person in whose heart there is rancour
against his (Muslim) brother, they will not
be pardoned and with regard to them it
will be said twice: `Hold both of them
until they are reconciled with each
other.''‘ [Muslim].

be performed Monthly.
These deeds are little
but they have great
rewards from Allah.

12. 1) Fasting three days of each hijri month
Abdullah bin `Amr bin Al-`As (May
Allah be pleased with them)
reported: The Messenger of Allah
(Peach Be Upon Him)said, "Observing
Saum (fasting) on three days of every
month is equivalent to a full month's
fasting.'‘ [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
It is better to fast thirteenth,
fourteenth & fifteenth of hijri month,
but it can be on any three days.

14. This season talks about
good deeds which can
be performed Yearly.
Since these deeds are
once in a year only, so
they have great rewards
from Allah.

15. 1) Ramadan
- Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased
with him)reported: The Prophet (Peach
Be Upon Him) said, "The five daily
(prescribed) Salat, and Friday (prayer) to
the next Friday (prayer), and the fasting
of Ramadan to the next Ramadan, is
expiation of the sins committed in
between them, so long as major sins are
avoided.'‘ [Muslim].
- Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased
with him) reported: The Prophet (Peach
Be Upon Him) said, "He who observes
fasting during the month of Ramadan
with Faith while seeking its reward from
Allah, will have his past sins forgiven.'‘

16. 2) Taraweeh Prayer in Ramadan
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with
him) reported: The Messenger of Allah
(Peach Be Upon Him) said, "He who
observes optional prayer (Tarawih prayers)
throughout Ramadan, out of sincerity of
Faith and in the hope of earning reward will
have his past sins pardoned.'‘ [Al-Bukhari
and Muslim].
3) The Superiority of Lailat-ul-Qadr in Ramadan
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with
him) reported: The Prophet (Peach Be Upon
Him) said, "Whosoever performs Qiyam
during Lailat-ul-Qadr (Night of Decree),
with Faith and being hopeful of Allah's
reward, will have his former sins forgiven.'‘

17. 4) Umrah in Ramadan
Ibn `Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them)
reported: The Prophet (Peach Be Upon Him)
said, "(The performance of) `Umrah during
Ramadan is equal to Hajj (pilgrimage).'' Or
said, "Equal to the performance of Hajj with
me.'‘ [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
5) First ten days of Dhul-Hijjah
Ibn `Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them)
reported: The Messenger of Allah (Peach Be Upon
Him) said, "There are no days during which the
righteous action is so pleasing to Allah than these
days (i.e., the first ten days of Dhul- Hijjah).'' He was
asked: "O Messenger of Allah, not even Jihad in the
Cause of Allah?'' He (Peach Be Upon Him) replied,
"Not even Jihad in the Cause of Allah, except in case
one goes forth with his life and his property and does
not return with either of it.'‘ [Al-Bukhari]. 17
18. 6) Hajj
- Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with
him) reported: The Messenger of Allah
(Peach Be Upon Him) said, "Whoever
performs Hajj (pilgrimage) and does not have
sexual relations (with his wife), nor commits
sin, nor disputes unjustly (during Hajj), then
he returns from Hajj as pure and free from
sins as on the day on which his mother gave
birth to him.'‘ [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
- Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with
him) reported: The Messenger of Allah
(Peach Be Upon Him) said, "(The
performance of) `Umrah is an expiation for
the sins committed between it and the
previous `Umrah; and the reward of Hajj
Mabrur (i.e., one accepted) is nothing but
Jannah.'‘ [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

19. 7) Shaving hair or take some of it in Hajj
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him)
narrated: Messenger of Allah (Peach Be Upon
Him) said: “O Allah, forgive who shaved their hair.
People said: And those who took some of their
hair. He said: O Allah, forgive who shaved their
hair. People said: And those who took some of
their hair. He said: O Allah, forgive who shaved
their hair. People said: And those who took some
of their hair. He said: and those he took some of
their hair”. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
8) Fasting Day of 'Arafah
Abu Qatadah (May Allah be pleased with
him) reported: The Messenger of Allah
(Peach Be Upon Him) was asked about the
observance of Saum (fasting) on the day of
`Arafah. He said, "It is an expiation for the
sins of the preceding year and the current
year.'‘ [Muslim]. 19
20. Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with
him) reported: The Messenger of Allah
(Peach Be Upon Him) said, "The best month
for observing Saum (fasting) after Ramadan
is Muharram, and the best Salat after the
prescribed Salat is Salat at night.'‘
[Muslim].
9) Fasting Ashura (Tenth of Muharram)
Abu Qatadah (May Allah be pleased with
him) reported: The Messenger of Allah
(Peach Be Upon Him) was asked about
observing As-Saum (the fast) on the tenth
day of Muharram, and he replied, "It is an
expiation for the sins of the preceding year.'‘

10) Fasting in Muharram

21. Abu Ayyub (May Allah be pleased
with him) reported: The Messenger
of Allah (Peach Be Upon Him) said,
"He who observes As-Saum (the
fasts) in the month of Ramadan, and
also observes As-Saum for six days in
the month of Shawwal, it is as if he
has observed As-Saum (fasting) for
the whole year.'‘ [Muslim].
