receive messages known as “Tweets”
Sometimes called “Microblogging”
Messages are restricted to 140 characters
Tweets can be public or private

You can also be “Following” other

Use @ Handle to reply to someone but it’s
visible to all
RT (Re-Tweet) Forwarding someone else’s
Tweet to your Followers
DM (Direct Message) Sends a private message
to a specific person. You can only send a DM
to someone who follows you
