In geometry, two figures or objects are 
congruent if they have the same shape and 
size, or if one has the same shape and size as 
the mirror image of the other 
Eg:1. 2.
The orange and green quadrilaterals are congruent; 
the blue is not congruent to them. All three have the 
same perimeter and area.
 If three sides of one triangle are equal to the 
three sides of another triangle , then the two 
triangles are said to be congruent
 Two triangles are congruent if two angles and 
the included sides of one triangle are equal 
to two angles and one included side of other 
triangle
•Two triangles are congruent if 
two sides and the included angle 
of one triangle are equal to two 
sides and one included angle of 
other triangle
 If in two right angles ,the hypotenuse and one 
side of one triangle are equal to the 
hypotenuse and one side of other triangle 
then the two triangles are congruent
