Clotilde Davenne is a perfectionist who lives in a charming farmhouse in the Chablis village of Prehy amongst the vines, making
truly handmade and individual wines. Her style expresses the minerality and soul of her terroir.
Tasting Notes
A very pale, simmering gold colour with fresh green grassy, fruit driven nose. Subtle hints of butter, citrus and green apple.
Concentrated fruit and clean minerality on the finish.
Food Matching
Have it with Smoked Salmon, Scallops, Turbot, Bream, Monkfish.

The Choblet family makes this wine from the oldest vines of the domain, the yields are low and harvested at the last possible
moment; this wine is then retained 10 years on the lees in an underground tank.
Tasting Notes
A pale lemon-gold hue, has a remarkable nose, rich, full and complex. The palate shows a firm minerality coursing through
beneath the vibrant citrus fruits. This gives a lemon-cream feel, a slight hint of richness but nothing too polished or honeyed.
Food Matching
Great with Oysters, Crab or Shrimps on Toast, Dover Sole and anything pickled.

A great alternative to a white oaked Burgundy or expensive Viognier. White wine from sandy soils in the Rhône; it spends 7 to 8
months in oak to give it a rounded richness.
Tasting Notes
Loaded with creamy stone fruit flavours and a touch of wet stone. Very rich, round and deep but with enough acidity to shine
with food.
Food Matching
Good with Potted Beef & Bacon, Roast Chicken, Meaty Fish (like turbot or monkfish), Creamy Pasta or even a Steak.

One of the oldest family run bodegas in the Rioja, aims “to give to society the best of their hopes and dreams”. This unusual
organic white wine spent 4 years in oak barrels, making it a slightly oxidised style of wine, similar to sherry.
Tasting Notes
This is the archetype of old-style white Rioja, with a nose of quince, beeswax, verbena and honeycomb and a palate that manages
both to be outstandingly decadent yet reassuringly fresh; almonds, citrus fruits and apricots.
Food Matching
Chicory Salad, Strong Cheeses, Bone Marrow & Onions; Grilled seafood, White Meat and even lean Steaks
