John. It happened after he ate one
chocolate that he bought in a shop.

12. Summary
• There once was a boy named John. He loved
chocolate. One day when John was walking on the
street he saw a new chocolate shop. He again couldn’t
control himself and went into the chocolate shop. That
night, he ate that chocolate. Next day John was
surprised because every thing that he put in his
mouth changed into chocolate. John was happy ,but
the happiness didn’t stayed long. John got sick of it.
His mouth got sticky and sweet. For the first time in
his life, John wanted to eat food. After school ended
John told his situation to his mom. His mom was sad.
And she slowly kissed to John.

• Right then, John’s mother started to change to the
chocolate. John quickly went out to the street and
went in to the new chocolate shop. He quickly said to
the shopper” Help me. Help me. My mom is dying!”
Then the shopper said “OK, but you have to control
yourself”. John nodded. When John went back to his
house his mom was alive! After that John learned a
lesson.

• After I read this book, I wanted to know
how did the writer thought of that great
idea from. And after i read this book, I
thought that this book was hilarious
book.

• I recommend this book to people who
like chocolate like Mr. Ross or 3rd ~ 4th
grade. That’s because I want to tell
them the lesson about chocolate that I
learned in this book (The Chocolate
Touch).
• I thought that this book was fun
because it was fiction. And I like fiction
book batter than nonfiction.
