This document provides an overview and plan for developing a mobile application for the Blue Valley School District. The app aims to provide timely information to students, parents, and teachers in the district by pulling content from approved websites and social media. The target audiences are students in grades 9-12, parents of students, and district teachers. The app will be developed to have an intuitive interface to ensure repeated use and easy access to district news and calendars. Competitor research examined other school district apps to identify best practices. The deliverables will be an iOS application that updates daily with real-time information from the district.
