2. Paper Prototype
• Why: To see what users think of layout of
information flow for the iPerceptum system.
• How:
– Use of a tab system to simulate the actual interface
– Use pieces of paper to represent information
• Give the user an idea of how the interaction with the system
will proceed
3. High-Fidelity prototype
• Why: To see what users think of an
almost-working version of the final product
and test out some of its functions
• Horizontal Prototyping
– give users an overview of all features, though
not all may be available to be tested.
13. General User Comments
• “I like the interactivity. I would had wanted something like this. It’s
structured and I like it! It’s not too messy also…the whole thing is its new
and different to me, its different from CORS or IVLE, and that’s a good
thing”
– User 1
• “I find that there are too many elements. I don’t like it, the structure is a bit
messy.” – User 2
• “ The overall interface is quite intuitive, and overall, easy to understand
even though the Module Management is confusing. It would be good if it is
more simplified”
– User 4
• “ The buttons and colours are very funky, very cool! I enjoy flipping the
book, very nice-looking and useful.”
– User 6
